Heat Treating and Plating

Carter Precision Components is qualified to provide all types of heat treating, including tool steel hardening, case depth, gas carburizing, atmospheric hardening, carbo-nitriding, induction hardening and tempering/stress relieving through our ISO certified partners.

We can also offer plating and rack plating, both electrolytic and electroless. Common finish coatings include gold, silver, chrome, nickel, zinc, copper or black oxide.

Using the latest heat treating and plating technologies, we will produce your parts to their exact specifications. That includes materials certificates of conformance and/or certificates of analysis. Reliability and peace of mind are our top priorities when it comes to your parts.
